Klate on knee injury Bafana Bafana winger Daine Klate has revealed his knee injury, which ruled him out of Fridays friendly with Swaziland, is an existing one he aggravated against Al Ahly. The Orlando Pirates man suffered a recurrence of the problem in his clubs 2-0 loss to the Egyptian giants in Cairo last Sunday. Klate is hopeful he can make a swift recovery, with Pirates facing his former side SuperSport United in the Telkom Knockout semi-finals at Lucas Moripe Stadium next Saturday. I have been with this injury for a while and the knock I took last Sunday aggravated it a bit. The knee is a bit swollen, but I am busy with John (William, the Bucs physiotherapist) and I hope everything goes well, Klate told his clubs official website. I do not feel pain when I walk but when I exert force on (the knee) then the pain gets unbearable. But like I said, let us hope everything goes well in the next few days because John has been taking care of me.
