Knee status update...after walking out of the Surgery Center, i have had a calm day at home, mostly on the sofa catching up with this season of Parenthood. Knee is holding up great! Some general discomfort, but thats to be expected, afterall, the doc had instruments scraping around inside it. He found a couple of pieces of artifact cartilage that broke off when I tore my ACL 2 1/2 years ago. I will be sore, but it looks good from here, if I behave. Shoulder already has more mobility, it is sore as well. I wont be needing the pain meds, Aleve should be enough tomorrow...I hope. Thanks for the prayers and well wishes. I do wish the original doc had done surgery 2+ years ago, but that is water under the bridge. Its done now.
