Knol khol ...or Ganth gobi. Available in plenty , now during winters. Also used in pickling in north india. I remember my grandmother using it in Kashmiri Achaar, along with the full leaves, and it use to be put in a earthen Pot..Matka , year after year, in the same pot. The neck tied up with a clean cloth. And how all of us loved this pickle ! This is more common in Jammu side . Anyways, coming back to the veg preparation, i do it the way it is made by my mom . It goes well with plain boiled rice .
