Patches is an adorable foster dog with Mid-Atlantic Jack Rescue, Inc. At 8-yrs-old Patches was dumped at a shelter when his owner was deployed. Patches has suffered from a broken heart and an abusive/stressful past. Patches is wonderfully well-behaved and has an adorable/endearing personality. He’s had a few experiences where he was apprehensive of certain men, but equally adores other men (esp. his foster daddy); it just depends on the individual. He’s a jolly and loyal little dog who just loves to be by your side. Patches ideal home is one that is quiet, has another dog for companionship and lots of TLC. He loves to cuddle, loves to play with his toys and toss them in the air to catch them, loves kids, loves walks and seems to do best with another dog or two in the home to show him that the world is a safe place (no cats). Patches is a long-legged JRT mix and weighs about 16 lbs. Patches is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccines.
