Knowing God (by His revelation and communion with Him and not by - TopicsExpress

Knowing God (by His revelation and communion with Him and not by mere head knowledge) always results to actions that glorifies and pleases Him. Men, both in the bible and in Christian history, who truly understand the Lords character - His grace, mercy, power, sovereignty - are never complacent but on the contrary are most used by Him to accomplish His work and to spread His word. Whether they are always fighting for His real ministry or passionate in their fight for holiness (by prayer and/or by action), they are almost never stagnant. When Jesus said, if you truly love me you will obey my commandments, He is not giving us another do this guideline, but He is stating a fact that true love for God will inevitably result to obedience.
