Knowing that it is cold right now but will be more pleasant later today has led me to reflect on this winters past .What did i learn? I still love snow and mostly the storm/event that it brings. Helping others helps.The day it did beat me and i just slept in the afternoon beaten by the task i did not give up on myself for that was the real enemy self. Not the cold or snow but how i handled it.friendships were born in this unplowed alley and guards were let down.The polish behind me were confused by the extra hand the spanish down the end did not mind the help lady on the corner i can not count (shes cute) and the 7 day a week drunk who caused some pain by leaving his truck in my way (and more importantly the snow plows) behind me whos look on his face when i knocked on his door to tell him I shoveled him out and was not knocking to complain.......PRICELESS lol next year i must remember and learn from this year to do better . It is not the cold or the snow it is me.
