Knowing who you are and your assignment here on earth is the best thing that can ever happen to a believer. Who are we? 2 Corinthians 5:20, Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christs stead, be ye reconciled to God. We are Ambassadors for Christ. An Ambassador is a high ranking diplomat acting as a representative of a nation. The Ambassador is sent to a foreign land to reflect the official position of the sovereign body that gave him authority. As a believer you must understand that you are whatever God says you are. God calls you his Ambassador here on earth. It means your citizenship is in heaven and you are only here on earth representing the interest of heaven on Earth. An American Ambassador has security forces around him. These security forces around him are Americans also. But you and I as believers are even greater than the American Ambassador because we have the host of heaven guarding us. If heaven is guarding me, then I dont have anything to worry about. It is a wrong mentality that keeps Christians in bondage (Proverbs 23:7). Know who you are in Christ; Think it; Meditate on it; Act like it; Talk like it; Look like it and watch how you will dominate here on earth.
