Knowing who you are in Christ enables you to put more value on that, than what anyone says or thinks about you. As humans, we are built to be relational, but Ive learned that the most important relationship, isnt with another human. People that lie about others are sowing seeds that they will eventually reap. That is inevitable. How you respond (or dont respond) when someone is lying on you is evidence of how firm you are in your identity in Christ.
