Here is Medical Report: Name: Filip Lewinski Age: 6 There were many illnesses that Filip was diagnosed with: autism, neurotoxoplasmosis, fragile X syndrome. For about six years the doctors were unable to find the causes of his problems. He was subjected to genetic, metabolism and immunology testing. He also had tomography, MRI and EEG done. Even though the diagnostics was repeated 4 times, it didn’t give any answers. Dozens of laboratory tests but still no explanation. Problems: Filip has extensive psychomotor delaying, anarthria (he doesn’t speak, his speaking progress is delayed), epilepsy, mental retardation, accommodation disorders, problems with hearing, psychomotor hyperactivity, sensory-motor disturbances, metabolism and immunology disorders. When Filip was about 4 years old he began to complain about the headaches. They were so strong that he was crying and sometimes was close to losing his consciousness because of the pain. Rehabilitation: Filip is undergoing intensive daily rehabilitation. He’s attending to numerous rehabilitation therapies and also takes part in everyday therapeutic activities. Unfortunately, the majority of them is not refunded. · Speech therapy 5x a week (100 PLN per hour) · Sensory integration 3x a week (80 PLN per hour) · Tactile therapy 2x a week (80 PLN per hour) · Cranial-sacral therapy 5x a week (70 PLN per hour) · Rehabilitation at the swimming pool (method Halliwick) 1x a week (60 PLN per hour) Total: nearly 1300 PLN per week (about 5000 PLN per month) Other treatments: · Biofeedback · Auditory therapy · Hippotherapy · Osteopathy 5-7 times a year, Filip has to attend to away Neurologopedic therapy (1400 PLN for a trip). Cost of his medication is about 600 PLN per month (some medicines are imported from Holland) Everything together makes nearly 7000 PLN monthly. New diagnosis: As we were looking for help with diagnosing Filip, we found some information about doctor Vitaly Vel who works in the Ukraine at the center of treatment and correction of spinal disorders in Zaporozhye. We met him at a rehabilitation trip in Wałcz organized by the Therapeutic Center “Uniquecenter”. The doctor diagnosed Filip with occipitalization of atlas. This was confirmed by the x-ray and consulted with Polish doctors. This defect causes a compression of the spinal cord and explains the dysfunctions that affect Filip. The unique method for treating this is a gentle correction of soft tissues of the spine. It could give Filip a chance to return to health and proper functioning. First therapy had place in April this year. The results were surprising. Headaches mostly subsided, they are happening occasionally. We also found a significant improvement in the area of large and small motor skills, tremendous changes in his behavior (such as autoimmune relief, reduced aggression) , improved communication skills, etc. In order to be effective, the therapy must be repeated in small intervals.
