“Kogi sure of Wrestling medals in Warri” – Philip The Chief Coach of the Kogi State Wrestling team, Philip Momoh has declared the state wrestlers are fully-motivated to win medals at the Chief E.K. Clark National Wrestling Championship in Warri, Delta state next week. Coach Philip told SavidNews Nigeria that the wrestlers have trained well and had showed great determination and potential to make the state proud in Warri. He said the athletes who are in the young age will be aiming to showcase their ability and gain some exposure ahead of the National Youth Games coming up later this year in September. According to Coach Philip, the state wrestlers will participate in thirty categories with twelve athletes to represent the state, adding the event of Greco roman, freestyle and female team. The Chief E.K. Clark National Wrestling Championship takes place on 22th – 29th July, 2013 in Warri.
