Kogi to Immortalise Late Adamu Atta ilorin.info/fullnews.php?id=10843 Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State has disclosed that the state government would soon immortalise the late first Executive Governor of old Kwara state, Alhaji Adamu Atta, who died recently at the age of 83 years, in order to preserve his legacies for the children yet unborn. Wada made this known while speaking Saturday during the 40th Fidau prayer held in Okene, for the repose of the soul of Atta who was the governor of the old Kwara State between 1979 and 1983 on the platform of the defunct National Party of Nigeria (NPN). The governor said the legacies of the good works the late governor has laid still stand the test of time, adding that he would be remembered for his selfless service to the people of both Kwara and Kogi states when he served as governor
