Krissy and I have been putting together the plan for the first AHBC brewery bike trip and now we need to get a head count for riders and volunteers (drivers)! If you want to do this then let us know in the comments if youre definitely in, or if youre only considering going. For volunteers we need a UHaul driver and possibly a van/SUV driver. We are thinking about Columbus Day weekend (October 10-13). Here is the loose itinerary (link to the route map is at the bottom): Friday, 10 Oct: - Drive to Milford, DE - Visit Mispillion River Brewing - Grab dinner and spend the night (you probably won’t get crabs in this motel) Saturday, 11 Oct: - Ride to Dogfish Head, tour, tasting, lunch (14 miles) - Ride to 16 Mile Brewery, tour and tasting (9 miles) - Ride to 3rd Wave Brewing Co. (20 miles) - Dinner and spend the night in Delmar (you may get crabs here) Sunday, 12 Oct: - Ride to Evolution Brewing Co., tour lunch, tasting (8 miles) - Ride to Burley Oak Brewing Co. (24 miles) - Ride to Backshore Brewing Co. (9 miles) - Spend night in Ocean City (Adam will def give you crabs here) Monday, 13 Oct: - Morning in Ocean City - Go Home Lodging cost: - Going solo = ~$200 per person - Split room with one other = ~$100 - Split room with two or more = you better know how to do math Well also have to factor in gas and fuel costs but those should be pretty low if enough people go.
