Krystal asked, Im currently homeschooling my 7-year-old first grader. She attended public school for the first semester of this year. We can work on something, regardless of what subject, and shell understand it. Then its like the next day Im having to repeat the entire lesson, because she cant recall hardly anything. She was having the same problem in school. I talked with all her previous teachers, except the one she had this year, and they all said she was top of her class in everything including reading - and now she seems like she cant read a single word. Im beginning to get very frustrated, thinking she just doesnt want to do anything as far as school. Also my parents (who live across the street) act like I have to do everything just like she would be doing in school, and its not helping at all. Any advice would be appreciated.
