Kshama Yachna – Samvantsari : Day of Pledge Jain Community - TopicsExpress

Kshama Yachna – Samvantsari : Day of Pledge Jain Community observes Kshama Yachna Day – Forgiveness Day at the end of Parvaraj Paryushan Parva. On this day one forgives and also seeks forgiveness for any ill feeling or misdeed for the past whole year. This day is pledge day for the New Year that one will not have ill feeling and will not do any mischief or misdeed. This is the pledge for upright and nice behavior for all. Generally this is only formal expression of giving and seeking forgiveness otherwise all feelings would have been finished. If giving and seeking forgiveness is real one in Jain community then there would have been no malice, misdeed, mischief, family disputes, court cases and all other evils. Jain is business, highly educated and wealthy and well behaved community. I request my Jain friends to take pledge to seek and in real sense forgive if practically not possible to all past evils caused to you then at least some of them may be forgiven. Applying this practice very year we may reduce malice and hate to some extent. Wish all my Jain friends to renew life free from malice and hate. This pledge will reduce your mental tension and increase solace to your soul. I seek apology from my innermost core of my heart on the most pious day of Kshama Yachna . Thanks
