Kudos everyone...!! Rewriting history once again ,IEEE Student Branch MJCET has once again made MJCET proud ,adding one more feather to its cap by bagging one of the most prestigious Darrel Chong Student Activity Award 2014 in Bronze category in the entire Asia-Pacific Region (IEEE R-10). It is worth mentioning that out of several top notch university around the world we were selected for our unique concept targeting the need of hour by conducting self awareness program on “Electric Hazard and its Preventive Measures” in more than 45 schools across twin cities of Telangana State. The purpose of this recognition system serves to change mindset of our students from being number driven to value driven and to acknowledge exemplary student activities around the world. On behalf of all and as the chairperson of IEEE Power and Energy Society MJCET, I take privileged in officially congratulating each and every member of IEEE MJCET family. To be frank this milestone would not be possible without motivation and relentless encouragement of our dearest Branch Counselor Dr. Kaleem Fatima and ever extending and unmatched devotion by our exemplary branch mentor Mr. Arifuddin Sohel and not to forget the important personality behind this success without whom this would not be a reality our beloved Chapter Advisor of IEEE Power Energy Society MJCET Mrs. Ajaz Fatima. It is her sheer dedication and able guidance of taking MJCET to its zenith that IEEE Power Energy Society is achieving remarkable as each day passing by. Her attitude of accomplishing things with perfection is the only reason Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology is standing out among various top universities of the world including the likes of University of Patras of Greece, Rice University of Houston, IITs ,NITs etc. And it is noteworthy to mention all our chapter advisors of IEEE whose motivation in bringing IEEE to the peak has always counted. I want to specially congratulate the IEEE 2012-13 executive committee with whom process of Darrel Chong nomination started with, as their seeds sown has developed into a massive success. A very special mention of IEEE 2013-14 executive committee of PES who are rightful contenders of this huge success ,as they tirelessly worked and did an outstanding work in making this victory happen. I also want to thank present execom 2014-15, members of IEEE and all other student body members who are involved and served in whatsoever form, a sincere thanks for being vital pillar of support to each other as a team. I feel proud in saying that we MJCETians are one among the student branches in Asia Pacific region to be bestowed with this elite honor for the second time, which testifies the dawn of unprecedented era of IEEE MJCET, an era that promises to confirm our vision and mission in the quest of revolution while continuing the saga of serving as role of Ideal student branch to others. Another set of glad and tidings,is the emerging batch of enthusiastic and committed team of juniors, who have showcased their skills and ready to carry forward the legacy of IEEE in a new dimension. As a whole it has been a great 2014 for the IEEE MJCET, adding this one after IEEE Most Vibrant Student Branch 2014 makes the perfect icing on the cake. All in all I want to congratulate each and everyone on this huge accomplishment. Before concluding I want to mention the words of Ajaz Fatima mam that –“To build a record is easy but to maintain it is a challenge”.
