Kudos to our NHS officers and to several of our members who are working very hard on their own time to make this event a success. They will graduate and wont be affected by the cuts, but they are working their tails off to make this event happen because they WANT THE YOUNGER KIDS TO HAVE WHAT THEY HAD!! Your attitude is the embodiment of what NHS stands for!! Very proud of you guys!! One example-- About 10 days ago Shelby Carey, our president, sent about 50 letters to companies and to individuals known for their dedication to philanthropic causes. She explained our situation and asked if they could donate to the silent auction or help in any way. 3 of the 4 who have responded so far have contributed! Keep it up, guys! We need everyone involved and working... our event is 2 weeks from today!!
