Kuna tabia tunayo si sote tunayo but wengine wetu ambayo sijui ni ukosefu wa imani ama nini exactly, kuna watu hupeleka misaada kwenye orphanages, which is a noble cause mashaAllah, then kuna wale hupeleka misaada in form of clothings or electronics and such stuff. I have been to a couple of these institutions and sometimes the things people take there as charity makes you an outsider ashamed. those kids and those taking care of them are humans too and have feelings, but kuna watu wapeleka old torn clothings as charity or a dead computer or any other stuff which they can never use in their own homes nor give to someone they care about. the prophet tells us, love for people what you would love for yourself if those clothes you could never let your children wear them, why give to another kid? whats more you have not helped them since now costs have to be incured to repair those clothes or whatever you have taken. that is an institution with children needing affection and care, its not a dumpsite to go dump what is useless to you :( lets have some humanity in us, before giving check it out if you have to sew it first have it sewn atleast. Sorry if i came out harsh or angry.
