Kuseniseni am a lady aged 37 and I am a virgin. A few months ago my parents chased me out of their house saying that a prophet had revealed to them that I will never get married as long as I am still staying in their house. I later moved out but my parents began to ask me constantly if I had found a man to marry making my life even more miserable. Than last Saturday my father called me saying he needed to see me urgently and that I should go there as soon as possible, when I got their I was surprised to find a family gathering waiting for me. My father than explained to me that the same prophet had prophesied that I get married to an 80 year old polygamist, failure to which I would die the way I was born. This 80 year old man has 2 wives while his 3rd wife died about two years ago. I have tried to explain that what ever has happened to me is not my liking as I am never approached by men. During the last programme people encouraged me to seek prayers but when I tried that and went to see a very well known pastor I was shocked when he told me that I should try some traditional medicines since most of my friends have tried the same. And now my father has been threatening to disown me if I do not agree to marry this 80 year old man, my aunties and other relatives have tried to reason with my parents but they have totally refused to listen. The say that no one has the right to talk about who I marry apart from them since I am their child. And this old man also has been calling me constantly and excitedly asking me when we are getting married. Please people I really need some help am getting desperate I cant go on like this please.
