Kwarans beware of carnival of blood sucker and death. This death is the third in a space of four years. It occurred in the year 2010, 2011 and 2013 respectively, this tragedy called stampede by it perpetrators must be thoroughly investigated. The State woke up to the news of another said stampede on the 16th of October 2013 and claimed the lives of more than (70) seventy people as at Yesterday based on findings by Kwara Liberation Voice. It is obvious that the news about the ritual killing called stampede rattled the Government of Kwara State which has shown no pretence about its unwillingness to investigate the cause of the repeated sacrificial killing of innocent souls. The most ridiculous of the attempt to pull the wool over our eyes was the press release addressed by the New PDP spokes man Mas’ud Adebimpe where he said four people were lost in the stampede. The question begging for answers is: 1. Where is Mrs. Sarah Adebayo, the useless Special Assistance on Poverty Alleviation that is in charge of money distribution on the said day and her subordinates? 2. Why should a State of harmony, a home of well respected scholars, Islamic clerics and ulamaahs turn to a State where you cannot sleep with your two eyes closed or an abattoir where innocent souls are sacrificed for political power? This carnival of blood sucker or death called stampede by its perpetrators must be thoroughly investigated and the culprits must be punished. We call on Mr President, The Commander in Chief of Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, National Security Adviser (NSA) to the President, Inspector General of Police (IGP), The Director General State Security Service (SSS), Director General Nigeria Intelligence Agency (NIA), The National Assembly both Upper and Lower House, The National Human Right Commission, The Council of Ulamaahs in Ilorin and Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) to institute a probe on this heinous crime in the State of Harmony.
