L-3 Communications - Fort Bragg, NC - L-3 National Security Solutions requires an experienced, self-directed, systems engineer to provide systems support to designated special operations units. The Systems Administrator will support their customer in a 24 x 7 rotating shift operations environment. Specifically the Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and resolving issues in support of the Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI) a Windows 2003 client/Linux server system with multiple input and output data feeds. The Systems Administrator will coordinate system continuity efforts and exercise support with the Joint Interface Control Officer. The Systems Administrator will perform the actions required to correct deficiencies or shortcomings and to improve system performance and efficiency and assist in the integration efforts for lifecycle migration plans, as well as new systems with COTS, GOTS, NDI (non-development items), and developmental equipment.
