LABOR DAY: Rich become Richer- Poor become Poorer! Blessed Labor day to all who works hard and honest.... very sad- that people in the government or working in the government and private entity which includes NGO and religious institution maligned and smeared black stain in the immaculate image of labor/work. Those who supposed to be expected as our guardians turn their backs against us- they work for personal gain and enriched themselves to the max. They are like the thief in the night who stole the food in our table leaving us food-less in our breakfast. We the common people work so hard but the fruit of work is feed to the crocodiles in the ponds in the government offices and private entities. tayo ang nagsasaing, lagi na lang iba kumakain- kawawa si Juan! Tyranny of power is the current system in our society- He who have the power has the control in everything- economic, politics, society, and people! Thus, many are entice to bandwagon to get hold of that power! In the offices, they use the principle of dog-eat-dog, they rise up to power using any means even to the expend of others! This is also happening to our electoral process, as it was in the campaign period Vote Buying and Selling is rampant!Candidates are buying their way to political power- very sad and alarming. When they will be in power, expected that their rise to power is about buying and selling- in short enriching themselves by squeezing every penny from the hunchback over worked ordinary citizens. In everything, it is the ordinary man-the Laborer is at the losing end! The mighty and powerful are swimming with milk and honey while the ordinary man is bathing with his own blood and sweat! Life is unfair, indeed! I am a dreamer-how can we make it fair? Who will make it fair? A question requires immediate answers to save Mang Juan who is counting his last breathe and just feet away from his death bed! I was been taught in my college days that- labor is sacred for it’s the tangible equivalence of the dignity of man- his work is his dignity, thus work is to be respected for respecting work is respecting the very dignity of the person! We can start the blue print of solution by this respect: Let us respect every person who works hard and adheres to the value of honesty! After mutual respect is built among us, let us start to make a system favorable to the laborers. Minimum wage is not favorable to the laborers- as I am educated by this society minimum wage or justified compensation is not justifiable at all for it is simply not enough compensation of the laborer/worker for a humane kind of living. The minimum wage system is a manifestation of selfishness in our society- rich become richer, poor become poorer because no equal distribution of wealth! Abolish this minimum wage and go beyond this limiting justice. In Christian definition, justice is just minimum of love - which means make the minimum wage to maximum- the laborers/workers well-deserve of that anyway, in fact it is long overdue!. To make life fair- let us equally distribute the fruit of labor! Lastly, free the system from dishonest men(cleansing process). By having a system which is crocodile-free there will be smooth flow and circulation of wealth in our society. End result will be overwhelming for at last Mang Juan will afford to live a modest life- life will be fair! And in fairness we can have taste of heaven here on earth- man eating the fruit of his own labor! (ideologyrealityactionrvpacuyan)
