LAGOS HOLDS STAKEHOLDERS FORUM ON WHARF LANDING FEE COLLECTION As part of the resolve of Government to continuously engage stakeholders in the State to resolve issues affecting them in other to improve their business environment, the state’s Government through its Wharf Landing Fee Collecting Authority will be holding a stakeholders forum on wharf landing fee collection on the haulage sector of the maritime industry. The Chairman, Wharf Landing Fee Collecting Authority, Alhaji M.O. Kekere-Ekun who disclosed this in a statement said that the forum would discuss matters affecting the collection of wharf Landing Fee in the state with a view to finding a common front at resolving daunting issues. The forum, he said would assist government to formulate policies that would be of immense benefit to the operators in the sector. He said that the forum will come up on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja from 11.00am. While urging all the stakeholders in the sector to take advantage of the forum by attending towards contributing constructively, the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN will address the stakeholders, he added.
