LAS VEGAS WEEKEND UPDATE!! Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow....WOW. What a way to spend Elvis 80th ~ honoring him, with great people! Thats the way it should be!! Spent 9 hours at South Point yesterday....Donny was on the Dennis Bono show and it was really amazing! He sang I Cant Help Falling In Love and Burning Love and DB was singing his praises and mentioned that it was Elvis birthday several times. Donny did a mini interview too. Sonny Turner of The Platters was also a guest and Donny enjoyed talking with him backstage. My father loved it too. Fever arrived yesterday and they came to the show and we all had a meeting to make sure everything is ready to go for today. Last night, in the gorgeous luxury suite that South Point has Donny in (11th floor view!) ~ we ordered $100 worth of comped room service and spent time with my father and his wife, Donnys mom and his stepfather, my dear friend Anna and her friend Donna. It was wonderful. Donnys promo posters are all over that casino/hotel...it was such a thrill to see!! We will be getting all of them after the shows and if we have any extras after us and family, we will do some giveaways and share!! =) We are all walking on a cloud and Donny is feeling good. He is finally feeling like he truly earned where he is and that is a good feeling and good to know. I want him to enjoy this with us all and not stress so much because he will give a phenomenal show as he always does and in the meantime, I want him to truly enjoy it because he DID earn every little bit of it!! Today is a long rehearsal/sound check day to go over the whole show with scripting and lights, etc. 1st show tonight. Not sure if there are any seats left at any of the shows...they told us we would for sure be sold out all shows and that there are only a few random seats left but if you are interested in joining us, give a call to (702) 797-8055 and see what theyve got. Just as I am typing this, our mailman knocked on the door and what do you think he delivered? Donnys BLUE OWL jumpsuit which just MAY make its debut at our Sunday night show!!! WOO HOO!!! Stay tuned! Tonight, after the show, we have our Meet & Greet and then our AFTERPARTY in our suite, by invitation...and then we are going out to the strip to see some sights!! =) Its going to be so much fun!
