LAST Part of MKRM.. PART 433 Ridhimaa glanced at Armaans peaceful face and carefully detatched herself from his grip, not wanting to wake Armaan. She slid off the bed and went near the window, opening it to let some air inside. Ridhimaa scanned up the sky and her gaze lingered on the moon, half-hidden by the dark, somber clouds. Ridhimaa: (to herself) Kaash baarish ho jaaye Although she knew it was a silly thought (it rarely rained in February), nevertheless, Ridhimaa spread both her hands in front of her, anticipating the rain. Armaan: (wrapping his hands around her waist, holding tight) Hmm Ridhimaa shivered, with surprise and anticipation. Armaan had nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck, kissing it softly. Ridhimaa: (conscious of the fact that Armaan was bare chested) Tum kab uthe Armaan? Armaan: (ignoring her question) Barish hogi to hum kya karenge Ridhimaa? He kissed her on the shoulder now, hands reaching up, till they met hers. The fingers clasped together, as perfectly as meant to be. The first raindrops fell on their entangled hands, taking both of them by surprise. Ridhimaas lips curved into a radiant smile. Armaan: (contemplating) Aaj agar tum kuch aur bhi maangti to shaayad wo bhi mill jaata Ridhimaa: (turning her head sideways to look at him, with the cuteness of a baby) Mill jaata matlab? Ab nahi milega? Armaan: (kissing her forehead) Itne pyaar se maangogi to turant mill jaayega. Waise, aur kya chahiye tumhe? The raindrops had turned into a light drizzle now. Cool winds whispered into their ears, ruffling their hair. Ridhimaa looked up at the sky again and then turned to embrace Armaan, who held her delicately. Ridhimaa: (speaking against his chest) Armaan Armaan: Hmm? Ridhimaa: Gaana sunano na Armaan: (astonished) Abhi? Ridhimaa: (sighing) Hmm Armaan: Ridhimaa Ridhimaa: (setting her eyes upon him) Please? Please Armaan?? Armaan: (giving up) Kya gaun? Ridhimaa: Kuch bhi mere liye She put her right palm on Armaans cheek. Ridhimaa: (whispering) Sirf mere liye Armaan removed her hand from his cheek, kissed it and held it against his heart. Ridhimaa: Gaao na Armaan: (singing) Rukhsaaron par hansi liye thi Honton par laali khili thi Phoolon ke beech gungunaate Wo mujhse yoon takraayi thi Wo mujhse yoon takraayi thi Aur dill me utar aayi thi Meri benoor zindagi me Wo roshni bankar aayi thi They both started swaying gently along with the song; the rain offering the perfect atmosphere, the wind supplying the perfect melody. Ridhimaa was in seventh heaven at this turn of events. Armaan continued to sing as they twirled around, dancing leisurely. Armaan: (singing, a kind of passion enveloping his voice) Aankhon me surkhi liye thi Khwaabon ki kirchiyan bhari thi Zakhmon par taala laga kar Wo rokar yoon muskaayi thi Wo rokar yoon muskaayi thi Aur dill me utar aayi thi Meri berang zindagi me Wo chandni bankar aayi thi Armaan rolled her from one arm to another. Ridhimaa responded to his each move, shivering at his each touch. Armaan soon realized she was feeling cold. He stopped twirling her around and just hugged her close to himself. His body heat being absorbed by her. Their legs still dancing, their hearts at peace. Armaan: (humming softly) Saanson se ek dor bandhi thi Rishtey saare chhod chali thi Mujhe tumse muhabbat hai Wo keh kar yoon sharmaayi thi Wo keh kar yoon sharmaayi thi Aur dill me utar aayi thi Meri khaamosh zindagi me Wo bandgi bankar aayi thi Ridhimaa smiled, her face hidden in his strong muscular chest. She traced her hand along his back, round his waist, up his arms, and put them on the front of his torso. Armaan melted at Ridhimaas soft touch. He couldnt get enough of her. His voice grew weaker as his self control began to crack To divert his mind, Armaan swirled Ridhimaa round again and then gently dipped her backwards. His eyes pleaded with her to stop, his voice saying otherwise. Ridhimaa was in no mood to listen to either. Armaan: (breathless) Haathon me choodiyan saji thi Mehendi mere naam rachi thi Chehre par har rang samete Wo palkein yoon jhukaayi thi Wo palkein yoon jhukaayi thi Aur dill me utar aayi thi Meri veeran zindagi me Wo zindgi bankar aayi thi Ridhimaa drew Armaan close to her. The rain fell hard, spraying them wet. Armaan sighed and looked into Ridhimaas eyes to find the starlight dancing in them. His cheek touched Ridhimaas as he bent his head to kiss her neck, sending a shiver down her spine. Armaan was taking in every breath she took. Her shivering broke his self control altogether, crumbled it into pieces and swept the pieces away with the rain. The rest of the world melted away. Now, it was just Armaan, Ridhimaa and the music of the winds. As Ridhimaa started to smile, all of a sudden, Armaan held her face; his fingers weaving through her hair; and kissed her, unleashing a passion Ridhimaa never knew existed. It overwhelmed her, and scared her. She couldnt respond. Armaan kissed her like never before. His kiss had a sense of urgency and thats what took him time to realize that Ridhimaa wasnt comfortable. As soon as Armaan realized that, he stepped back from Ridhimaa, too guilty to look at her. He couldnt believe he had ignored Ridhimaas feelings. Ridhimaa: (opening her eyes) Armaan? Armaan, who was about to walk away, stopped. Armaan: Im sorry Ridhimaa main mujhe pata nahi kya I Im really sorry Ridhimaa: Armaan please aise mat bolo Armaan; (his face hardening) Fir kaise bolun Ridhimaa? His eyes looked angry, his fists were tight and his face was set. Ridhimaas eyes filled with tears. Ridhimaa: Im sorry Armaan main tumhe hurt nahi karna chaahti thi Armaan: (taken aback at seeing Ridhimaa apologize) Haan? Ridhimaa: Im sorry Armaan mujhe maaf kar do Armaan: (growing even angrier at Ridhimaas silly talks) Kya bakwas kar rahi ho? Ridhimaa broke into tears and turned away from Armaan. Armaans guilt increase tenfolds. Now he had made Ridhimaa cry! He hated himself. Ridhimaa: (word coming out at random) Tum Im sorry main shaayad main tumhe wo pyaar nahi de pa rahi jaisi tumhare dill ko chaahat hai mujhe Im sorry... I promise ki main ab se kabhi aise behave nahi karungi Im really sorry Armaan Armaan squirmed in agony and hastened towards Ridhimaa. He put his hands on her shoulder and turned her around. The beautiful face was glazed by the tears, that sparkled like diamonds on her cheeks. Armaan: Mere dill ko sirf aur sirf tumhari chaahat hai sirf tumhare pyaar ki us pyaar ki jo tum mujhse karti ho us paaq muhabbat ki jo mere dill ko tumse pyaar karne ke laayak banaati hai us naazuk se dill ki jisme tumne mera aks chhupa rakha hai mere dill ko iske alaawa aur kisi ki chaahat nahi hai Ridhimaa Ridhimaa: (tears still swimming in her baby-like innocent eyes) Tum ab mujhse gussa to nahi ho na, Armaan? Armaan: (puzzled) Main kab tumse gussa (then recalling the way Ridhimaa had burst into tears at his anger) Tum paagal ho kya Ridhimaa? And without waiting for Ridhimaa to retort, he picked her up into his arms. Ridhimaa wrapped her arms around his chest, holding him like her teddy bear. Armaan took her to the bed and laid her down on the much scattered roses adorning the bedsheet and kissed her gently on the forehead. He kissed away her tears too. Ridhimaa: (restless, wanting her answer) Tum ab mujhse gussa to nahi Armaan kept his finger on her lips, shushing her. Armaan: Main khud se gussa tha Ridhimaa tumse nahi. Tumhari to galti hi nahi thi main hi tumhare emotions, tumhari feelings ki respect nahi kar paaya Now Ridhimaa kept her finger on Armaans lips, shushing him. The two stayed like that for a while, fingers on each others lips, eyes never leaving each other. And then they smiled. Ridhimaa curled her arms around Armaans neck, pulling him down. Armaan caressed her face with a light hand and his thumb lingered on her lips, teasing her. Ridhimaa pressed her lips against it for one brief moment. As she did that, Armaan smiled again, felt her smile too, and knew that their desires, their feelings were the same. His hand went of in search of Ridhimaas hand, clasping together when he found it. And once again Armaan kissed Ridhimaa. Once again they held each other close, bodies touching, hearts throbbing. Unlike before, the kiss was now mutual, slow, soft and so very, very sweet. There was no sense of urgency. The rain continued to shower its blessings upon the two consenting lovers as the moon was now hidden completely by the clouds. Armaan knew they had just a few moments before the sun would rise and a few hours later, he would have to leave for the shoot. He would hate to keep Ridhimaa waiting, but Ridhimaa was right; they would still have forever to themselves. As Ridhimaa kissed his forehead, Armaan blinked and whisked away all the thoughts that didnt have him and Ridhimaa together. Smiling, and kissing once more, Armaan and Ridhimaa eventually settled, drifting off to sleep in each others arms. Armaan had learnt to live in the moment. What had to happen, would happen, there was no use worrying about it. They have their future in their own hands. Armaan and Ridhimaa are the writers of their own story, and only they would decide how to shape their dreams into reality. What they decided and what their future had in store for them is a completely different story to tell and I might let you know about it some fine day. Till then, let us allow Armaan and Ridhimaa to enjoy some privacy let them make the most of the moment let them build their beautiful dream castles and let them walk together, hand-in-hand, along the course of Muhabbat Ki (Nayi) Raahon Me!!! Well, Riddhi told me to not to leave MKnRM incomplete as she doesnt like to read it like that. So, I have written this as the last part of MKnRM for the time being. I have no plans to resume it, but I also cant think of ending it. Thank you for your valuable time and comments. Thank you for reading. It has been a long run... I hope it has been as special for you as it has been for me. Thank you. Love you all Love, Lovy.
