LATEST CLUB NOTES Senior Men Ballymartin were the visitors to Camlough on Sunday as our senior men continue their build-up to the new season. Once again the Shanes put in a decent performance to claim the win by a few points and as with previous games the entire squad got a run out with a lot of the younger lads getting some valuable playing time. Senior Ladies Our senior ladies squad had a good run out against Bosco on Sunday morning. With 11 players missing from the team that started last years Ulster final it was an opportunity for some of our younger players to gain a taste of senior football. All the players put in a good effort throughout and hopefully we will have further challenge games arranged before our league begins on April 5th. As St Pauls is closed this Tuesday there will be no training but it is hoped to have another floodlit game later in the week. Minor Boys As St Pauls is closed there will be no training for our minor boys this Monday night but it will resume next Monday, 24th March with all players asked to be at the club for 5.45pm. U16 Boys Our U16 boys had their second challenge game of the year on Sunday away to a very good Cullyhanna side. U16 Girls A very strong showing from our U16 girls on Thursday night saw they gain a comfortable win over a good Geraldines side in Blackrock. The league commences in three weeks and it is hoped to get a couple more challenge games in before then.
