LATEST ON HEAVY HOLIDAY TRAFFIC - 1PM UPDATE Motorists travelling around the state continue to experience significant delays at various locations this afternoon due to heavy holiday traffic on many of the states major roads. As at 1pm the following locations continue to experience delays due to heavy holiday traffic: Sydney: M1 (F3) - heavy northbound traffic. M2 - eastbound between M7 and Pennant Hills Road - earlier delays have now eased. Great Western Highway - westbound approaching Lawson - 6km queue / 15 minutes additional travel time. CBD - Various major retail outlets - including retail outlets on Homebush Bay Drive NSW Northern: New England Highway - Northbound approaching Hexham Bridge - 12.4km queue / 40mins additional travel time. Pacific Highway - northbound approaching Sancrox (near Port Macquarie) 7km queue. Pacific Highway - northbound approaching Macksville - 12km queue / 50 mins additional travel time. Pacific Highway - southbound approaching Macksville - 5km queue / 20 mins additional travel time. Pacific Highway - northbound approaching Woodburn -11km queue / 45 mins additional travel time. Pacific Highway - southbound approaching Woodburn - 4.5 km queue / 25 minutes additional travel time. NSW Southern: Princes Highway - southbound approaching Albion Park - 8km queue / 25 minutes additional travel time. Princes Highway - southbound approaching Berry - 12.5km queue / 65 minutes additional travel time. Princes Highway - southbound approaching Milton - 6.3km queue / 20 minutes additional travel time. Kings Highway - eastbound approaching Batemans Bay - 2.6km queue / 20 minutes additional travel time. Motorists should allow plenty of additional travel time and expect lengthy delays if travelling on any of the major roads around NSW.
