LAYLATUL QADR.................. OR THE NIGHT OF DECREE........... OR THE NIGHT OF POWER there are some muslims especially who belong to this sub continent who have declared or have specified the 27th night as the night of QADR................ IS IT TRUE ...................... let us see what HOLY QURAN AND THE AUTHENTIC HADITH say about this..................... ALLAH says in the glorious QURAN in sura QADR, sura no. 97, ayat no. 1,2,3,4 and 5 INDEED WE SENT DOWN THE QURAN IN THE NIGHT OF DECREE AND WHAT CAN MAKE YOU KNOW WHAT IS THE NIGHT OF DECREE? THE NIGHT OF DECREE IS BETTER THAN THE THOUSAND MONTHS THE ANGELS AND THE SPIRIT (GABRIEL) DESCEND THEREIN BY PERMISSION OF THEIR LORD FOR EVERY MATTER PEACE IT IS UNTIL THE EMERGENCE OF DAWN............. it is mentioned in SAHIH BUKHARI, V 1 HADITH NO. 49 IN THE BK OF FAITH PROPHET (saw) went out to tell muslims about the NIGHT OF DECREE. and said that so and so were quarelling and its knowledge was took away from me.......... so search it in the 25th, 27th, 29th nights........... IT is also mentioned in TIRMIDHI...... hadith no.794......... that seek the NIGHT OF DECREE in 21st, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 27th and 29th nights of RAMADHAAN it is Also mentioned in SAHIH BUKHARI, V3, HADITH NO. 2017.......... that seek the NIGHT OF QADR in the odd nights of RAMADHAAN SHEIKHUL ISLAM IBN QAYYIM AS WELL AS IBN TAIMIYYA (may ALLAH have mercy on them) say that no one knows about the NIGHT OF DECREE it is again mentioned in SAHIH BUKHARI, V3, HADITH NO. 2015 that seek the night of QADR in the last 7 odd days........
