#LA_LIGA: Barcelona’s La Liga title defence was dashed a huge blow with a [3 - 2] home defeat to Valencia on Saturday. The Catalan club took a seventh minute lead when Alexis Sanchez slotted home. However, Dani Parejo equalised for Valencia at the end of the first half before Pablo Piatti headed them into the lead just after the break. A Lionel Messi penalty equalised for Barca but Alcacer Garcia put the visitors back ahead five minutes later to ensure victory. Jordi Alba was sent off late on for a body check on Sofiane Feghouli to reduce Barcelona to 10 men.
