LBGT discrimination bill update: So, the Senate -- thanks to endorsement of Nevada Republican, Dean Heller -- overcame the first procedural hurdle on a bill that would make it illegal to discriminate against someone on the job who is gay. Guess what happened in the House? Nothing. Speaker John Boehner has spoken out against the measure. His spokesman saying, The Speaker believes this legislation will increase frivolous litigation and cost Americans jobs, especially small business jobs. This doesnt mean the bill is DOA, but it will be much harder to pass.
