LCSO Advises Residents of Possible Traffic Delays During Weekend Events go.usa.gov/VHPW Loudoun County, VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is advising residents of several weekend events that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county. On Friday night, a 5k race will take place in the Lansdowne area between 3PM and 8PM. Motorists may find some delays on Woodbridge Parkway. On Saturday, a half-marathon will take place in the Lucketts area between 4:30AM and 1PM. Roads impacted include Lucketts Road, Lost Corner Road and St. Clair Lane. Residents who live in this area should be advised that Chapel Lane and Spinks Ferry Road are being used as a detour route. On Sunday, a triathlon will take place along the Washington and Old Dominion Trail between Herndon and Ashburn. The event will be held from 6:30AM to 9:30AM and may impact Sterling Boulevard, Ruritan Circle and Smith Switch Circle. Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely, follow all law-enforcement direction, and have a safe weekend. ###
