LEARNING TO CARVE CORRECTLY If you start to learn carving incorrectly it is more difficult to unlearn and start over. I always start teaching my students with a good carving knife, and tell them to NEVER use other tools until you have mastered the basic techniques with the carving knife correctly. All of my students are good carvers and this is one of the main reasons. Please feel free to ask any questions about carving and I will do my best to answer your questions as soon as possible.
