LECTORS WANTED! Lectors, now called Ministers of the Word proclaim and share the Word of God with our parish family at liturgies. They bring God’s word to life at Mass, as they proclaim the Scriptures and sometimes lead the Prayers of the Faithful. They devote time to preparing and reflecting on the readings in advance so they may be proclaimed with familiarity, reverence and love. Our parish is now seeking Ministers of the Word candidates. A training class will be offered here at the parish in mid-August. Training and coaching will be combined with opportunity for practice. Training will be conducted in English. A candidate should be a baptized member of the parish who has received Confirmation and regularly attends Mass.
