LEGAL ACTION AGAINST SHAUN MACLEOD In the aftermath of a suspected arson attack last month on our Charity Shop, snake handler Shaun Macleod made comments that he would have “no problem” if the “entire corrupt establishment burnt to the ground” and that he would not put it past this corrupt SPCA organization to have burned their own facility to rake in donations for their own pockets. Earlier this year we confiscated snakes from Shaun after it was determined that he was not looking after them properly. It was decided that Shaun could have his snakes back but that we would have “unfettered” access to monitor them. We can confirm that we are lodging a case of defamation against Macleod and that this will be done pro bono. We are committed to animal welfare and take seriously our reputation as a non-profit organisation that protects animal rights.
