LEGENDS, MEMORIALS, A PREJUDICE....?, Then the Lord God took some soil from the ground and formed a man out of it, Lord breathed Life giving breath into his nostrils and the man began to live [Genesis 2:7] Jacob got up early next morning took the stone that was under his head and set it as a memorial [Genesis 28:18] Satan’s declaration and Power of Jesus! The Satan said to Jesus ‘’if you are God’s son, order these stones turn into bread (Mathew 4:1 – 11, Mark 1:12 - 13, Luke 4:1 – 13). Though, his only aim was to interrupt the fasting of Jesus, it was Satan who in the first instance proclaimed that Jesus is son of God, before His Disciples convinced themselves. Through Him God made all things, not one thing in all creations was made without Him - John 1:3 Jesus was the real light, the light that came into the world and shined on all mankind - John 1:9 And the Word became flesh and lived among us – John 1:14 (ie, God became a man to be seen among human being!) In the past history, somebody worshipped calves, sometime in the ancient Roman culture people worshipped Deities (like Apollo, Jupiter, Neptune, Juna, Ceres, etc) and somewhere there are cult worshippers. Other than the calves or Deities or Cults, aren’t Jesus Christ or men and women who followed Him are worthy to be given reverence for their Heroic Virtues and to be remembered...? Is it not a mystery that where ever the faithful come together for prayer in front of a Venerated Statue as in the Pilgrim Centres like Fatima [Portugal], Lourdes [France], Medsjugory [Yugoslavia], etc., so many Miracles and Healings are taking place beyond human thinking, which are scientifically being proved to be extraordinary......?
