LEMURIA AND EDEN IN PALAWAN THE LEMURIA There is a belief about the beginning of the Philippines that it was once a part of a sunken continent called Lemuria. Palawan historian Diokno Manlavi claims in his History of Palawan that the present China Sea and the Gulf of Siam were once a vast Valley of Lemuria, surrounded by the mountains of Taiwan, the Philippines, Borneo, Sumatra and the Malay Peninsula. Manlavi wrote that the Boston Sunday Post in its issue of February 18, 1934 published an article showing the evidence gathered by Col. James Churchward about a sunken continent destroyed some 10,000 years ago. Then a report from Calcutta said that a scientific expedition found evidence about the existing sunken continent of Lemuria. Also other reports likewise told of a mysterious continent submerged in the Pacific Ocean. This is related to the time of Noah when most of the landmass were submerged about 2500-3000 BC. The Kansas City Times published a report of a British anthropologist with pictures and maps claiming that they had very good information about the mysterious continent under the Pacific Ocean. Dr. Albert C. Smith, a botanist of the Smithsonian Institute had collected evidence that tends to prove the existence of a large sunken continent in the Pacific. In Tokyo the “Sun” in its issue of June 23, 1961 reported that the sunken continent of which they named Mu might rise again. Underwater PROOF of Sunken Lemuria Moreover, the Russian ship, Vityas, had extensively explored the oceans in Asia, Africa, and Australia for seven months in connection with the International Geophysical year. They crossed the equator 6 times and found that in areas close to Africa could be found a number of sunken islands that could be the remnants of the lost Lemuria. Manlavi claims further that the sunken continent had its beginning about 200,000 years ago. The Lemuria was a large, unbroken continent located somewhere in what is now the Pacific Ocean. It connected Asia and Africa then. About 100,000 years ago, great geological upheavals took place. Some mountains surfaced, valleys were formed, as the seas appeared and disappeared. At the same time, the first recorded series of magnetic waves moved around the globe from east to west. The part of Lemuria touching Asia and Africa started to sink, resulting in the growing height of continental Europe. The Atlantic Ocean was said to be just a river that separated Europe and the American continent. Then the two American continents drifted westward, separating from Europe and Africa and in the process touched the eastern shores of Lemuria in the Pacific. The lost continent of Atlantis appeared as Lemuria slowly began to lose itself below the Pacific. Then, Australia began to appear also in the map. So as Lemuria continuously sank, inhabitants move to Asia, Australia and Africa until it finally sank less than 10,000 years ago. Again this theory could be correlated also to the so-called Great Deluge during the time of Noah about 2500 to 3000 BC. Diokno Manlavi wrote further that the Lemurians are very religious and their spirituality is very far advanced. They are the exact opposite of the people of Atlantis who are said to be scientifically minded. The Lemurians believe that God is first and foremost – the Alpha and the Omega of the Bible. They believed that God is omnipotent and supreme endowed with an intelligence of the highest caliber. Then God made man perfect because He is perfect. They had massive and beautiful temples being used for prayers and thanksgiving. They also used it as a place to discuss community problems. The giant Lemurians have heads much larger in proportion to their bodies. Between the eyes and immediately above the bridge of the nose is a protruding mass about the size of a walnut. This third eye can get impressions. Thus they could sense dangerous animals far away or send and receive messages from people in distant lands. They are well developed physically because their main diet was coming from fruits and vegetables. Nudity to them is nothing as they share common pools and baths without malice. They live collectively; do not get paid for their labors, and share in the assets of the community. Although they have plenty of gold and platinum, they do not sell their produce but barters them instead. Everybody is encouraged to develop his individual talent for the good of the tribe. When a Lemurian feels that he has accomplished his earthly mission, he decides when to take the next higher step: transition or death. He is so adept that he can even select the exact date of his death. At the appointed time of transition, he goes to sacred ground and in the presence of his relatives and friends, closes his eyes. Within a few hours he is dead. They believe in reincarnation or rebirth. Three days after transition, the body is sprayed with some chemicals so that the physical body is destroyed. The story about Lemuria further tells more details. It is said that its twelve disciples went to Atlantis in an airship powered by some materials quite different from present day jet engines. They were well received and entertained in Atlantis. When parts of Lemuria began to sink, the people dispersed to the higher portions of their sinking continent. Some went to the higher parts of Africa, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand and others. There is this belief that the mystical land of Lemuria, known also as MU, ZU or OZ, is the first spiritual civilization that began over 100,000 years ago. Then another theory is that we are living in the Second Earth being the start of the creation of Adam and Eve in the Second Biblical Genesis. Auggusta de Almeidda (a Filipina researcher and well-educated writer) after her thorough research revealed in her works “Pilipinas, the New Jerusalem” and “Prophecies for Pilipinas” that the first Earth created which was Lemuria, ended in a cataclysmic destruction by fire and water, by volcanic eruption and floods since 10,000 years ago. About that time, the continent of Atlantis, which was part of Lemuria sank in the Atlantic Ocean. Again, this is almost correlated to Noah’s time. The Lemurian civilization was the greatest empire of its time. The expanse was impressive that the land area alone reached as far a Hawaii on the east, as far as New Zealand on the southeast and as far as India on the west. This vast empire was ruled from a centralized government which was called “the Motherland” and was situated in Central Lemuria, a location to where Palawan, Philippines is geographically located today. The motherland itself was paradisiacal kingdom of three islands separated by channels. For so many years, the spiritual kingdom of the Motherland of Lemuria (MU, ZU or OZ), under direct Divine Guidance, ruled its kingdom and colonies that included even Atlantis. The Kingdom of Motherland was magnificent. The Lemurians were an advanced and enlightened race. Their civilization is so advance that the present contemporary world blessed with computers, cell phones and space programs is still pale in comparison. The assumption that Lemurian Motherland is in the perimeter of where today El Nido (the Motherland – the Nest of Mankind), Palawan, Philippines is located remains unquestionable because aside from the fact that this is the cradle of Philippine civilization, its northern part in El Nido remains the oldest landmass even in the whole world! THE EDEN So as written, the Biblical origin of man is in the Paradise of Eden. It is a civilization considered first or the only oldest place which man could recall since the time of Abraham up to now. This place and its stories are still considered by “experts” as an allegory. But Moses (1450 BC) and the people in the Old Testament believed that this Eden, although lost, is where all the present people of the earth trace their genealogy. “Palawan: So this is Eden”, is the title of the magazine Mabuhay, October 1999 volume 20 number 10. Then the genius hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, addressed the Philippines as the “Perdido Eden” literally the Lost Eden. There is extensive study which points out why Palawan really is the Lost Eden. Rizal’s famous poem “Mi Ultimo Adios” in the second line, he called the Philippines as the Eden Lost. Because of Rizal’s genius, he had transcended into higher level of analysis wherein he realized messages and truths that declare the Philippines as the Lost Eden. This could be explained further by singing the “Lupang Hinirang”, the national anthem of the Filipinos, direct meaning is the “Chosen Land”. Eden is the first Promised Land, Israel is the second “Promised Land”, but the Philippines is claimed by many as the “New Jerusalem” other words for the Final Promised Land. In the 1980’s, Palawan is called by Gov. Salvador P. Socrates as the Land of Promise, but Antonio Pigafetta of Magellan Expedition called it as the Land of Promise as early as 1521. How about Marcos score? The famous slogan of Pres. Ferdinand E. Marcos when he actively campaigned for the “New Society” is the phrase, “This Nation shall be Great Again”. Philippine history reveals no time in which the country had a glorious or great day. This country is colonized by Spain, America, and Japan. Until now the Philippines and the Filipinos are suffering so much. So, where did Marcos based his favorite dream? Marcos is not ignorant of the Philippine history and even of its pre-history. He had a lot of psychic friends who shared things with him about Lemuria. Marcos is referring the great days of Lemuria and he is predicting the tomorrow of the Philippines. It is the first and the last civilization of mankind here on earth. The decision to the assumption of two terms into the same place is based on the great similarity of the Eden and Lemuria. The difference is that Eden is biblical while Lemuria is theoretical. The Bible, Koran and Torah are the sources of the stories of Eden. This term is a Sumerian word for the fertile plain. In Hebrew, the term Eden means delight. The Garden of Eden is therefore the Garden of Delight; and in Greek version, it is now known as “Paradise” but literally a pleasure park. Eden according to some biblical scholar is in Iraq and no other else. But when Moses was inspired to write the Genesis, they were probably still in Egypt or probably along the way to Canaan (Israel). By way of location around 1400 BC in Egypt or Israel, Moses and other patriarchs were not yet thinking that there is such thing as Far East Asia more than Iraq. They were not yet thinking that the world is round and that it is the earth revolving around the sun. At that time, the Philippine archipelago was possibly mostly submerged due to flood since in Noah’s time even up to 1000 BC. In that time, their knowledge of geopolitics was quite not updated as of today. All the good stories of Eden ended when the Great Flood in Noah’s time occurred. Only the family of Noah survived and they were the last who saw the beautiful Eden. This fertile plain was submerged when the Ark of Noah left and finally shipwrecked in Central Asia.
