LEROY – LOOK AND LEARN Three Englishmen and three Jamaicans are traveling by train on a day trip into London. At the station, the three Americans each buy a ticket and watch as the three Jamaicans buy only a single ticket. "How are three people going to travel on only one ticket?" asked an American. "Watch the ride my yute!" answers a Jamaican. Leroy quietly watched but didn’t say anything. They all board the train. The Englishmen take their respective seats but all three Jamaicans cram into a restroom and close the door behind them. Shortly after the train is departed, the conductor comes around collecting tickets. He knocks on the restroom door and says, "Ticket, please." The door opens just a crack and a single arm emerges with a ticket in hand. The conductor takes it and moves on. The Englishmen shook their head in amazement when they saw this and agreed it was quite a clever idea. Leroy smiled quietly but still did not say anything. So later that afternoon on the way back from London, the Englishmen decide to copy the Jamaicans on the return trip and save some money. Leroy and his wife got on the train but Leroy did not buy any tickets. When they board the train the three Englishmen cram into a restroom and the three Jamaicans cram into another one nearby. The train departs. Shortly afterward, Leroy knocks on the restroom door where the Englishmen were and shouted "Ticket, please" and surely enough a hand extended and handed him a ticket. He knocked on the restroom door where the Jamaicans were and shouted "Ticket please!" and a hand extended and handed him a ticket.
