Job ref LPA#8 METALLURGIST / METALLURGICAL MANAGER 3 years as a junior Metallurgist or 5 years as a Metallurgist and 10 years plant experience for the Management role; Degree in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Job ref LPA#9/10 MINE PLANNER Entry point is 5 years in mine production and planning in an open pit environment; 2 years supervisory experience for a Medium Term Planner plus 5 years in a large tons per annum open pit environment for the Long Term Planner. Mining Engineering Degree. Job ref LPA#11 MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL (HEAVY CURRENT) ENGINEERS 5 years experience in mining/manufacturing/heavy industry/power & energy and 2 years team management; Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Degree/National Diploma. Job ref LPA#4/5 CIVIL ENGINEER 7 years Civil Engineering experience in open pit mine development projects including: water management; infrastructure maintenance & project administration/management. Degree in Civil Engineering Job ref LPA#21 CHIEF SURVEYOR 6 years survey experience in mine development including at least 3 years in open pit. Degree/HND in Mine Surveying. Job ref LPA#22 MINING / MANUFACTURING / HEAVY INDUSTRY / POWER GENERATION EXPERIENCE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER 5 years HR generalist including 3 years in management in listed industries. Minimum of 1 year in managing Industrial Relations & Wage Bargaining. HR/Industrial Psychology Degree. Finance Degree OR LIA General Accountant accreditation. Degree/National Diploma in Security Management. Job ref LPA#16 EARTHMOVING EXPERIENCE IN OPEN PIT MINING MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT / PLANNER – MINING SERVICES Job ref LPA#18/19 Planner - plans maintenance, repairs & servicing of equipment: 5 years as Workshop Manager with 2 years CAT equipment & 2 years maintenance planning; Diploma in Automotive & Autoelectrics / Trade Certificate in Mechanics or Diesel Mechanics. – NQF 3&4 CAT artisan. Job ref LPA#19 Superintendent: 10 years as Workshop Manager with 5 years CAT equipment & 3 years maintenance planning; Qualifications as for Planner plus Supervisory Management & Project Management certificates.
