LESSONS FROM IRANS MATCH. The team was determined,they possessed the ball and fought like never before,but you can never give what you do not have.The team lacked a particular pattern in breaking opponent defence,if they had,it was the normal expectation of wanting a player to beat his way to score.No decoy runs,players upfront far from each other etc. 1 RAMON azeez was made to play infront of mikel and onazi,instead of mikel playing infront of onazi and ramon-----Despite mikels role in chelsea,he still as the ability to be an attacking midfielder,while ramon is more of a battler than mikel,so ramon should play along onazi. 2 Playing 4.3.3 with moses and musa and calling it 4.2.3.1-- Big boss listened to fans cry and drop his most creative attacker in ideye.the team lacks a player in the mold of ideye who will hoold the ball for emenike to run into space or make decoy runs for emenike and other players to take scoring position.With the present squad in brazil,we need to play two men upfront,either emenike and shola with osaze pumpling from the wings to the midfield,or emenike and ochebo pairing with osaze from the wings to the middle.musa,moses and nwofor can always come in to change formation and tactics. 3 Shola ameobi can hold ball,ochebo can also hold ball,so one of these two players need to start with emenike or nwofor upfront. 4 we should not make the mistake of dropping ramon azeez in our subsequent matches,with onazi and ramon,the back four is cover,mikel should be made to play more of central and attacking midfield. Vincent,efe,oshaniwa,onazi,yobo,omerou,azeez,mikel,osaze,ochebo/shola and emenike will be good.Injury to onazi or ramon will spell doom.so let start praying against it.We thank God yobo as regained confidence. My semi final target still stand if we play 4.4.2 with the right players.
