LESSONs FROM THE PARABLE OF THE PRODIGAL SON. Luke15:11-32 the story of the prodigal son has a lot to teach us, which looks at the relationship between us and God and it present us with the following lessons: 1. In this parable Jesus illustrated how great Gods love is towards us is, however, we should not take advantage of his love, to misbehave, as stipulated in Rom6:15 2. The boy left his fathers presence; in his presence there is protection, love, freedom, and enough grace. If we should leave Gods presence, trouble embraces us. 3. There was famine in the land; plenty is not guaranteed outside the kingdom of God. 4. Sin brings us down to the level that pigs will be valued more than us. 5. When we turn back to God, he will welcome us with his hand open wide. 6. Restoration, reinstallment is guaranteed, when we come back to God. 7. We are heirs of our fathers property, the elder son had all, instead of him to take, he was waiting for the day his father will give him a goat. Instead of taking it. 8. Decision; the younger so took the decision of returning to his father and that decision earn him his position in his fathers place. The elder son had to also take the decision of accepting his brother back. In conclusion We as believer should share that love of Christ to every one around us, by forgiving each other. Praise God .
