LET GO..AND LET GOD!...Letting go doesn’t mean we don’t care about someone or something anymore; it’s just realizing that the only thing we truly have control over is ourselves, right here, right now....leaving behind the past to make way for the present. We will never achieve what we are capable of if we’re too attached to things we’re supposed to let go of, whether bad habits, favorite sins, or anything that keeps hindering us to grow in our faith. Growth and change may be painful sometimes, but nothing in life is as painful as staying stuck where we don’t belong. The hardest part about growing is letting go of what we were used to, and moving on with something we’re not. But like Job, he learned the greatness of God in his life. And indeed God blessed his life more than he can imagine. Job 1:21 says: “Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither. The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” Accept what is, let go of what was and have faith in what could be.
