LET ME CLARIFY THINGS JUST A LITTLE ...... JACKS BBQ SHACK Is nearly done... fires on, gas line in, grease trap down , hood installed, all the electrical is repaired, nearly every piece of equipment has been replaced with newer , better stuff.... its just a matter of the inspections and testing for the fire dept and health dept.... which isnt cheap or fast... i hear so many fairy tales about ALL THE PEOPLE HELPING ME TO GET OPEN... so here is a list of those who have ACTUALLY BEEN THERE DOING SOMETHING.... lane and his kids- including courtney, jeremy coates(who has been there since day one), jimmy klotz,randy cacini, mike ogle, some needed parts donation from a friend who will remain nameless by his request, eric luna, drew and jason, and chris the electrician... then we have crystal, who has forced her way thru nearly all the bullshit legal paperwork and cleaned up behind everyone NUMEROUS times trying to the place in order... my daughter who has done enough research to choke a pony and, her husband chris who donates to the fund on the sly..... and to rodney, who has been huge help getting thru some the technical items weve run across.... katie and her group of volunteers for getting the memorial planted and, last but not least, xander who has guided us thru the wants , whims and demands of the heath dept and new laws we had to comply with...and kevin for storing the bbqs for months .. that being said, i dont think ive missed anyone....... ANYONE ELSE--- HAS BEEN PAID FOR SERVICES RENDERED.. not favors and not trades but, paid cash.... SO THOSE OF YOU CLAIMING TO HAVE HELPED, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHO YOU ARE SO I CAN THANK YOU AND ADD YOUR NAME TO THIS LIST....... i would hate to forget someone and make them feel unappreciated but, i am a busy man and cant remember everything... for those of you bullshitters out there, kick rocks and quit patting yourselves on the back while youre talking shit of which you know nothing about.... thanks to all of our supporters !! without you pushing us, we would not even bother.. this is for us, the area, our friends and familys and, to help increase the lake usage and just to have a nice little place to call home. local owners, a local place and, a new place that will one day (i hope) be a new regular stop for breakfast, lunch and, dinner....... and even for just sitting on the beach enjoying the day... thanks to all of you who REALLY have been there for us.. your efforts are not and, will not go un-apprciated... thanks !!! jack
