LET THE BIBLE SPEAKS ON JESUS RELIGION: continuation. In Surah 6:162-163, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon Him) was commands by God, saying ; , say ( O Muhammad) : verily, my prayer my sacrifice my living and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the worlds. He has no partner, and of this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims ( in my own generation) . In the teachings of Jesus as written in John 5:30, John 12:49, John 6:38, John 4:34 and others, quoted in the previous earlier writing n Jesus also sacrificed his life and everything to God just like the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). In Luke 23:46 Jesus said Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit. Another meaning of Islam which Jesus upholds is peace. In john 14:27 Jesus said:- peace I leave with you ; my peace I give to you, - do not give to you as givest. This Peace mentioned by Jesus means the contentment of heart, spiritual blessing tranquillity, self satisfaction and control. In 1 Corinthians 7:15 the Bible says:- But if the unbelievers depart, let him depart. A brother or sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God hath called us to peace (Islam). Islam signifies and literally means peace and this means ane can attain real peace of mind only through submission and obedience to the commandment of God, and God hath called everyone to embrace this peace (Islam). In Surah 3:85, Allah says And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam (peace and submission to the will of God), it will never be accepted of him, and in the hereafter he will be one of the loosers . Also in Surah 3:19, God says : Truly, the right religion with Allah is Islam. Since Islam is defined as the religion of peace, and total submission to the will of Allah (the supreme God of the universe), then the Bible and Quran have invited everyone to embrace Islam. In James 4:7 the Bible says: Submit yourself therefore to god( Aslim) in Arsbic In Matthew 19:16-17, Jesus said; if you wish to have eternal life in the kingdom of God, then submit yourself to God by obeying his commandments . This means that it is not the blood of Jesus than can save one, but obeying the commandment of God. And finally, in James 1:27, the Bible says: pure religand undefiled before God and the father is this, visit the fatherless (orphans) and widows, and keep himself unspotted from the world . This is what the Quran also says in Chapter 2:177 and in numerous sayings of the prophet ( peace be upon him) in his traditions.in Chapter 4:36 of the Quran, God says:- worship Allah and join none with Him (in worship) , and do good to parent, kins fold, orphans, the needy, the neighbour who in near of kin, the neighbour who is stranger, the companion by your side, the way farer( you meet), and those (slaves) whom your right hands passes.
