The Portuguese forward has scored 44 for Real Madrid and six for Portugal and is the first player in the big five European leagues to reached the figure this year. The Real Madrid player’s average in this period is more than a goal per match, having only needed 45 matches to score his fifty goals. Cristiano Ronaldo started 2013 by scoring a brace against Real Sociedad in the first La Liga match played in January. Since then he has scored in 29 other matches to take his total to 50 goals and confirm his status as the great goal-scorer in world football.
