I therefore bequeath you to desist from this inferiority-superiority fights. Be reminded that we have an enemy that we are targeting to defeat, an enemy that is ignorance, poor attitude, oblivion and disunity which combined have led us to the pit we find ourselves in. whether degree or diploma, we are all clinical officers with intertwined destiny and grievances. I wish to dispel the notion that the internship allowances are for graduate interns only, as there is no policy or existing law that supports that allegation. As the interim union, we hold the opinion that all interns that are forced to undergo internship by the government are by default indentured learners and by extension employees as provided for by the labour relations act 2007 and employment act. Therefore, the 1 year is a contract of indentured learnership and should be compensated as such. The BSC clinicians qualifications are higher than those of diploma and there should be no contention to that. we are brothers and sisters. It took several days of demonstrations for BSC CIMS to be paid and now its the turn of dip interns to claim their share. Lets focus our energies to the target lest we loose direction. Failure to pay dip interns is discriminatory and unconstitutional and should be seen and addressed as such. SOLIDARITY COMRADES
