LETS TALK ABOUT NAMES!! There was a time when we named our Children after African Kings and Queens or after our Parents to keep the Family Names alive. For example, I was named Douglas John after my Uncle John Douglass. My Son Douglas named his Daughter Genesis Karen after his Mother Karen Theresa. Both of My Daughters named their sons middle names after me...and so on.... ITS NOT FOR EVERYONE--its just something my family does. But then something happened...People wanted to become Creative and name their kids things like Alize after a drink or Hennessey. But that wasnt enough, it then became SUPER Creative and they started naming their kids names like ShaMiracle and DahWeekend (YES!! Those are two names I have heard since living in Georgia!) o.O If you want creativity, get a name that means something, even if its in another language--take some time and do some research--you owe it to your child. As a former Federal Regional Director and current Manager of my own business, let me give you some serious advice: If you want your kid to get a job one day and not have their Resume thrown into the circular file (Garbage can)--before it is even read---Please STOP this madness!! I am getting off of my soapbox now....Have a Happy Throwback Thursday My Good People! #Douginess
