LEWIS MACLEOD and Lee Wallace will both have fitness tests at Murray Park tomorrow ahead of Sunday’s League One fixture against Forfar Athletic at Station Park. Macleod missed Tuesday night’s Ramsdens Cup victory over Queen of the South because of a knee injury. Speaking to RangersTV on Monday he hoped to be fit and available for selection this weekend but the physios at the training ground will check his progress before they can give the youngster the green light to play and it is the same situation for Wallace. The club’s vice-captain returned from a hip problem to face the Doonhamers but was replaced in the 85th minute by David Templeton. He will also be assessed tomorrow. Elsewhere, the manager has admitted the game against the Loons will come too early for Kyle Hutton. Hutts has yet to make a first-team appearance in 2013/14 but is now gradually getting back to full fitness. The 22-year-old played for 45 minutes in Tuesday night’s under-20 league match against Aberdeen at Dumbarton’s Bet Butler Stadium and looked sharp before being replaced by Ryan Sinnamon at half-time. McCoist, however, wants the midfielder to get another outing at this level before he returns to top team duty. Ross Perry and Chris Hegarty are still out as they recover from ankle injuries. //Stevie
