LICO organized a forum on early marriages where girls from Bolero, Chirambo, Chikwawa and Lundu Secondary schools were able to discuss issues affecting their education and made some important resolutions for their future, role models were young women who have excelled from Bank, Nursing, Teaching and Police they encouraged girls on the importance of education. LICO gave out school uniforms, notebooks and pads to 27 girls who were readmitted to secondary schools. We are so grateful to the following partners for their support, SAT Malawi, The Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe, VWAC committee, Rumphi District Hospital, Bolero education zone PEA, Police, NBS Bank and media houses.
