LIFE ON OUR NUT FARM – BABYSITTING ROSLYN Up early, working on art, another fabric collection I look forward to sharing with you! Michael made an early lunch, one of our favorites, a Panini with, tuna, Havarti, Cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheese, all piled on a Ciabatta roll. He served it with crispy, grilled cheese all around the crusty bread – delicious! Soon, I received a text message from our daughter-in-law Jamie, she and Roslyn were on the ferry! Jamie was coming to the Island to help Michael move some of my father Kenny’s furniture. I was going to babysit granddaughter Roslyn! Of course, opening our front door, Roslyn jumped into my arms! One of the reasons I am able to hold her, weight lifting with the growing Puppy Girls, Josephine, Frances, and Marie. Roslyn sat on my lap for a while, she loves holding and talking about my frog necklace. The Puppies took turns sitting on our laps and Roslyn tired on sunglasses. As she leaned against me, eyelids heavy, Jamie said, “Time for her nap!” Jamie put Roslyn to bed, she and Michael left. I continued to work on art, listening for her to wake up…Hoping! I would like to tell you Roslyn soon woke up and we had great fun hanging out together. Actually, she slept until Jamie returned and woke her up. It was wonderful to snuggle with her again, before they left. I went outside, in between rain showers, while Michael was taking pictures of, Our Front Entry. Cold and windy, I took him a jacket. Have a Fabulous Friday!
