LIFT SOMEONE ELSE UP “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.” (Philippians 2:3, NKJV) We live in a very selfish, self centered society. There is a ideology held by many that, if is in not stated publicly, it is implied socially. That ideology is simply, “Every man for himself.” Perhaps this is the reason the divorce rate is so high, gangs terrorize our communities, families are falling apart and even our religious institutions are so powerless. Too many of us have adopted the ideology of “Look out for number one.” Yet, the Word of God teaches us that we must put others above ourselves. We are to seek the welfare of others before our own. We are to encourage, edify and help to establish others. We are called to serve, minister to and be a blessing to others. Let us always remember and never forget our life mission is to LIFT SOMEONE ELSE UP. Blessings my fb family.
