LIKE and SHARE our Pet of the Week! Can you help this once neglected girl find her safe forever home? Meet Bug, bunny extraordinaire! Bug came to us from a neglectful situation. She was severely emaciated and had large open wounds on her back legs as a result of living in her own waste, and likely on a hard, uncomfortable surface. She spent a month in foster care, and learned lots of new things! She loves to frolic in a secure, safe outdoor playpen, and feel the soft grass on her feet. She absolutely scarfs down fresh greens, and she thinks that the amazing, delicious taste of a bit of fresh grown strawberry (given very rarely) is just about the best thing in the whole world. Bug took a few days to learn to eat enough hay, so she will need a forever home that is able to ensure she is getting proper nutrition and taking care of herself. Bug is a social girl, and though she is not used to being picked up and held, with some work she would learn to enjoy it. She has also come a long way in her litter box training, but will need a bit more coaching. She loves to hop around to new people and introduce herself. Bug is a special girl that had a very hard life before coming to the shelter, and deserves a wonderful, amazing, and most of all, loving home.
